Main Street Village Apartments

Experience Record: Schwartz Associates has completed over 500 site renovation projects for multi-family properties. Improvements to Main Street Village in Tigard, Oregon, under the direction of Guardian Management Corporation illustrate key services in this application.

The following describes our role in Site Improvements for Main Street Village.

Signage: Curving brick wall segments match materials used elsewhere on the property and rise gently out of adjacent landforms. Colors and forms are selected for compatibility with similar architectural features.

Landforms: A sculptural grass covered mound behind the sign forms a strong backdrop for the sign and entry to the property. Plant forms beyond reinforce the sweeping curve of the entry and provide buffering for nearby apartments.
Office Entry: Special paving and renovated foundation plantings at the office continue the theme established at the street entry.
Project Role: Design of signage, buffering, street presence and office approach.
Construction Cost: $60,000
